Ifunanya Care Initiative (ICI) joined the Anambra State Government, Sweep Foundation, TechnoServe, and the Coca-Cola Foundation to celebrate World Environment Day in Awka.
The two-day event featured a symposium on “Citizenship and Corporate Participation as a Solution to Plastic Pollution in Anambra State” and a live field exercise where plastic waste was collected and purchased on-site.
The event emphasised shared responsibility, sustainable practices, and the state’s commitment to achieving zero waste by 2030.
