Three members of the Ifunanya Care Initiative (ICI) team represented the organization at the Amnesty International Nigeria Stakeholder Town Hall held on 2 July 2026 in Awka, Anambra State.
Representing ICI were:

The town hall, hosted by Amnesty International Nigeria, brought together civil society organizations, community leaders, and other stakeholders to discuss the findings and recommendations of two reports:
- A Decade of Impunity: Attacks and Unlawful Killings in South-East Nigeria
- Tiger Base of Atrocities: Human Rights Violations by the Nigeria Police Anti-Kidnapping Unit in Owerri
The discussions centered on human rights, accountability, justice, and practical pathways to addressing impunity in Southeast Nigeria.

One of the major themes was that silence in many affected communities is often driven by fear and the need for survival, rather than indifference.
