We’re a Non-profit, Passionate About Positive Social Change in Nigerian Communities
Ifunanya Care Initiative (ICI) was born out of a deep passion for social and environmental change in Nigeria. We recognize how social behaviors, environmental factors, and economic struggles directly impact health, well-being, and life expectancy. As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to uplifting individuals and transforming communities by raising awareness, fostering innovative solutions, and providing training programs that drive meaningful social change. We are passionate about spreading love to everyone and teaching people how to love themselves and the environment. Taking one place at a time.

We’re A Dedicated Team
Mission Statement: Ifunanya Care Initiative is committed to empowering communities in Nigeria by addressing the fundamental determinants of health that individuals can control. Through education, advocacy, skill development, healthcare access, and environmental sustainability, we strive to foster a culture of well-being, self-sufficiency, and social responsibility.
Vision: To build compassionate, empowered, and environmentally conscious communities where every individual is valued, supported, and equipped to lead a healthier, more sustainable life.
Problem Statement: Many communities in Nigeria face a critical lack of health education, environmental awareness, and sustainable income opportunities. Unhealthy lifestyle habits, poor sanitation, and environmental degradation—often driven by limited knowledge and economic hardship—have significantly contributed to low life expectancy and widespread preventable diseases.
Furthermore, medical negligence and violations of patients’ rights, continue to threaten public trust in healthcare systems. Without urgent interventions that address these root causes, individuals remain vulnerable to poor health outcomes, economic instability, and environmental hazards.
Need Statement: There is an urgent need to educate communities on how daily choices affect their health and environment. Programs focused on health literacy, climate awareness, and sustainable livelihood opportunities are essential to creating lasting change.
